“At the heart of (adult) catechesis we find…the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and it is for this reason that the definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ.” - saint Pope John Paul II Since our recent return after the pandemic shutdown, each week we watch episodes of the award-winning series “The Chosen” which focuses on the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of those who encountered him.
For parishioners who have heard about the series but have not had a chance to watch or if there are episodes that were missed or if someone wants to see it again – this is an opportunity to view it with fellow church members. We have a study guide and will include other extras from time to time, including corresponding scripture readings. Each session begins and ends with prayer. |
Adult Education begins Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. with light refreshments. The session starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall below the church. Reservations are not required.
We follow the calendar of the Parish School of Religion and we end so that parents can pick up children after their classes. Adults of all ages and stages are welcomed to come for faith, food, and fellowship. For more information, please contact Frances: frances.smith88@gmail.com. |
